Lunch classes with Sensei Luc

Lunchtime classes are a perfect opportunity to loosen your limbs in the midst of a sedentary work day. Whether the focus is kata, sparring, or intense calisthenics, lunch classes will make you sweat while making you smile.

Monday nights with Sensei Fayçal

Every class with Sensei Fayçal begins with an intense, sweat-dripping warm-up. The training then focuses in on precision and technique, providing beginners with a strong foundation and pushing more advanced karatekas to elevate their skills.

Tuesday nights with Sensei Sylvain

Sensei Sylvain’s classes are focused on the kihon – the basics of karate practice – cardio, and katas. Beginners will be continue developing the basics, while upper-level practitioners will have the opportunity to practice higher-level forms.

Thursday nights with Sensei Laurie

Thursday nights are dedicated to drills, endurance, and fighting techniques (jiyu kumite). If you want to get stronger, this is a great class to turn to – from speed-punches to push-ups, and anything else Sensei Laurie dreams up, these classes will build your body and your confidence, one push-up at a time.

Saturday morning Katas with all the Senseis

Every Saturday, the community comes together to practice katas for an hour. Students are separated into categories by belt, so that everyone can learn at their level.

Saturday morning kumite (sparring) with Sempai Greg

Kumite is the Japanese word for sparring. Students ready to spar are welcome to join us for an hour of non-stop sparring. Each of us adjusts to the person before us, so that everyone can practice intensely and safely (and also joyfully!). An hour of sparring is the best way to leave the work week behind!
